Wearable

I'm planning to build myself a wearable computer.
So far all I have is some ideas, but this is the stuff I hope to be using:

Hardware	Description
VIA EPIA-P(?)	Pico-ITX mb with CPU One of the major benefits of procrastination is that technology keeps getting smaller, cheaper and more powerful : )
Twiddler 2	input device (USB mouse/keyboard)
MicroOptical	Eyewear (display)

I have not yet decided on what display to use, but the finished device will definitely include wireless networking.
Interconnect will be through Ethernet and/or USB2.
For storage, I'm considering the new laptop solid state flash disks - tons of space and low power consumption.
I'm not sure what operating system I'll use, but I would prefer to create one myself (see the "os" link at the top of the page : )
A last resort would be Linux.
